The quarantine was a really hard period for bands and artist. We talked to some bands from all over the world to see the real effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic in music.
Today we talk to VAYA, an amazing Canadian band from Toronto!

How can you describe the changes generated by the pandemic in the band’s activity?
Hi Rock Monsters. We have more time to work deeply on the next steps in between how to develop our skills on each instruments for our next shows and how to work deeper in severals layers for the post production of the second opus.
What daily activity did you miss the most during quarantine?
Not that much, I am flexible. Personally I love working home. Peacefully.
Maybe painting exhibitions for my own art. And of course traveling to meet collaborators and co create
Were there any pluses for this period without concerts?
Taking care of yourself, studying new skills, rest.
How does it feel to return to some normalcy?
As I said, as the wind, I am flexible, so I follow the flow.
What plans have you got for the rest of 2020?
Continuing to work on the second opus it is a huge project.
Do you have any message for the bands or artists who are still in lockdown/quarantine?
Keep the sacred fire.

Where there is love, there is hope!
